Push

Image
What's your push? What's your why? What's your expected end? Do you have an answer? Have you thought about this at all?  Romans 5:3-5 (NASB) "And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulations brings about perseverance, and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."     The older I become, the more I learn and acquire, and the more Holy Spirit gives to me, I'm learning to literally "go with the flow" wherever He's leading. This is obviously easier said than done, but it's highly necessary. I know the title is obviously called "Push", and "going with the flow" may not seem like a saying that requires any kind of pushing. However, it definitely does.     The "push" is literally as compared to the last push in delivery before...

Ease of Acceleration

2 Samuel 5: 10-12 (NASB) "David became greater and greater, for the Lord God of hosts was with him. Then Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees and carpenters and stonemasons; and they built a house for David. And David realized that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel."     David was just moving in what God had been directing and telling him to do, and all-the-while, didn't even notice this hill he had been climbing was steadily going up. Isn't that how it is sometimes? Don't we miss the mini "graduations" that God allows us to have without realizing they just happened? Really sit back and think of everything God has already done for you; things you might have prayed and asked for a long time ago and now is coming to pass...prayers you honestly forgot about.     I have noticed, and Holy Spirit revealed to me, that He has already been answering pray...

Prayer Lessons

1 Thessalonians 5:17, KJV "Pray without ceasing." 2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."     Again, is it that easy? Is it that simple? Other words used for "without ceasing" is "incessantly", meaning without interruption, continually, etc.  However, I truly believe that when we see or hear this word, it is taken as a one-way conversation with God, where He listens and does what we say (or at least we think). Our spiritual senses are cut off to the fact that our Father wants to be heard as well. What you may want, or think is right for you, is probably way left to what He already has in store for you.     Another factor that plays into this is patience. My goodness, my goodness. Like, what is that? Everything is so sped-up nowadays, and we're so...

The Missing Piece

John 15:4-8 (NASB) "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. "  You are, you are you are, you are The missing piece That seems so far Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Read it slowly and repeat Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Read it slowly and repeat We repent of leaving you We repent of ignoring you We repent, we repent, we repent Of not knowing you You are the Beginning You are the End We pour our love out on you On you, on you   Everyone...

It Doesn't Make Sense

1 Corinthians 1:19, 25, 30-31 (TPT) "For it is written: 'I will dismantle the wisdom of the wise and I will invalidate the intelligence of the scholars.' For the 'foolish' things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the 'feeble' things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability. For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. And this fulfills what is written: 'If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!'      I really had to condense all the scripture I wanted to put in here so as not to create a super long read. Reading Jesus excites and encourages me to keep moving and pushing forward. There's a strengthening, molding, and boldness I know that is happening and refuse to go back now.      However, I don't want to stray from the main to...
