The Missing Piece

John 15:4-8 (NASB)

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. "

You are, you are

you are, you are

The missing piece

That seems so far

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Read it slowly and repeat

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Read it slowly and repeat

We repent of leaving you

We repent of ignoring you

We repent, we repent, we repent

Of not knowing you

You are the Beginning

You are the End

We pour our love out on you

On you, on you

Everyone's looking for something

empty, empty, empty

Who can fill this void

Empty, empty, empty

Who can fill this void

Only you

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

We cry, We cry, We cry

There's gaps, there's voids

there's missing pieces

That only you can fill

That only you can fill

Jesus

We don't take you for granted

Pull us back, pull us back

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Our brother, our Savior

Our all-in-all

Who is liken unto you

Who is liken unto you

There is no one, there is no one

like you Lord

So let it be, so let it be

as it is heaven

So let it be, so let it be

as it is, as it is

This is your will for us

This is what you've always wanted

To dwell

To abide

To stay here with us

So here we are

Hearts open wide

Stretched to the sky

Jesus take it all

Jesus take it all

We love you, we love you

fill us up

overflow

We're consumed

Who can love us better

no one, no one, no one

Who can love us better

no one, no one, no one

Thank you for being the missing piece

the puzzle we made for ourselves

Lord you stitch us back together

You stitch us, you stitch us

And say,

"This is what you've been looking for,

this is what you've been searching for."

Whatever it is, whatever it is

This is it

There's no mistaking your Presence God

There's no mistaking your peace

This is it, you are it

Jesus, Jesus

Jesus, Jesus

We'll play on repeat

We'll play on repeat

***Let's Pray!!! Jesus! The missing piece of the puzzle that we've tend to forget, that we've left behind in our religious jargon and day-to-day. Forgive us! Thank you for being so patient, gracious, and generous to us even when we've been so inconsistent in acknowledging you and abiding in you. You show us your love for us each and every day. Help us to appreciate you by worshipping you, singing to you, singing to you a personal love song every day. Get us back to a one-on-one conversation with you in discussing plans, your heart on the matters of the day, and more. Your face do we seek and will continue to do every single day. Give us a heart only for you concerning every area of our lives. Our love yearns and seeks for you, our hearts cry out for you. Those in a dry and weary land with no hope, depression, and/or looking for any and everything to fill their voids, fill their dry places Jesus. Be their well that never runs dry. Continue to water them, making them yearn and hunger for more and more of you. In Jesus' Name-Amen.***
