Push
What's your push? What's your why? What's your expected end? Do you have an answer? Have you thought about this at all?
Romans 5:3-5 (NASB)
"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulations brings about perseverance, and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
The older I become, the more I learn and acquire, and the more Holy Spirit gives to me, I'm learning to literally "go with the flow" wherever He's leading. This is obviously easier said than done, but it's highly necessary. I know the title is obviously called "Push", and "going with the flow" may not seem like a saying that requires any kind of pushing. However, it definitely does.
The "push" is literally as compared to the last push in delivery before the baby is born. Personally, and I don't know if any one can relate, I believe there's that one last push before something is born. That one last push that you've been waiting for developing. However, this development process has been brainstorming, putting things together, connecting the dots...all led by Holy Spirit and inquiring of His guidance.
There's a push into the new and out of the old and mundane. I literally keep seeing it as standing with your toes on a line about to cross over. This may be a personal testimony or it may relate, but something new is being birthed, and it requires our push.
Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB):
" 'Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.' "
There's this silent, but steady, build into the next that requires something from the church. Continue to pray, seek the face of Jesus, read the Holy Bible, fast, and seek, seek, seek! The answer is in the intimacy.
***Let's Pray!!! 💜 Dear Lord, we seek you, we search for your face, and we will continue to push. Thank you that you have given us strength for our weakness and gain for our loss. Lord, we thank you that what was stolen will be given back to us twofold and more. Father, we break the enemies' grip on whatever has been stolen and bring fire to him now, in the name of Jesus. No ill, harm, hurt, or danger shall come near our tent. Father, thank you that you have made us warriors who depend on your strength and not that of our own. Thank you that we can continue to push forth and not get weary in well-doing. Lord, you have made us this way, and so we thank you for making us stronger each and every day for the battle. We are taking back what is ours, not settling for less, and pulling down that which is already ours. In Jesus' Name-Amen.***
