It Doesn't Make Sense

 1 Corinthians 1:19, 25, 30-31 (TPT)

"For it is written: 'I will dismantle the wisdom of the wise and I will invalidate the intelligence of the scholars.' For the 'foolish' things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the 'feeble' things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability. For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. And this fulfills what is written: 'If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!'

I really had to condense all the scripture I wanted to put in here so as not to create a super long read. Reading Jesus excites and encourages me to keep moving and pushing forward. There's a strengthening, molding, and boldness I know that is happening and refuse to go back now.

However, I don't want to stray from the main topic...it "doesn't" make sense. The Lord said, before I could finish this thought for it even to touch my lips and declare such a foolish thing, "But it does." Simple, short, but powerful all in one response. This, in combination with all the mind-blowing revelation and teaching we've been receiving since moving to Jacksonville, put things back into perspective and focus (James 4:7, NASB).

What doesn't make sense in the natural makes perfect sense  in the spiritual, and some things are the result of our own actions. I'm sure I have said, implied, or referred to this a number of times, but when living and thinking from God's realm (spiritual), we inherit a higher-level of thinking. Things that wouldn't normally happen start to happen because of our partnership with Jesus. This level of trust and friendship we should all aim to reach and it's not impossible.

The consistency, the discipline, and more given to God releases keys from the spiritual realm that says, "I can trust you." This, of course, can not be taken lightly but with a heavy fear and responsibility; if these are not desired don't even attempt. The sacrifice is definitely needed, but the reward is much bigger than the sacrifice when looking in hindsight. "How can I look in hindsight when I'm in my current?" From what God has implanted in your spirit! From the promises shown to you through His Word!

It sounds so simple and kind-of is when just performed, but declaring and walking in your promise now will be hard when the end of trials seems to no avail. However, it's not about feeling but about knowing. Knowing who God is to you, remembering what He has done, and continuing to develop a closer and intimate relationship with Him everyday. This will change your perspective, your outlook, your behaviors, your image in life and in a world that tries to keep you on one level.

***Let's Pray! 💛 Thank you Lord for everything you have already done. We will boldly boast in all you have done. It is not our business to know everything, for you are the master planner, the master creator, and all things fall in your hand and in your plan. We are just moving and following your lead. Wherever you tell us to go, Father we will go. Let us not be slow to move in obedience when given the command, but let us move with haste to do that which you say. We trust you to do every single thing you have spoken over us, and we know it doesn't come without sacrifice, growth, and maturity. We don't want to call what makes sense to you nonsense, but Lord put us in the same viewpoint as you. Let us have the same eagle eye to see and trust in your wisdom. Wisdom that surpasses all we could even hope to obtain. Father, we will watch over our hearts with all diligence, deflecting, setting fire to, and extinguishing any and everything opposite of your desires for us. We love you and honor you. In Jesus' Name we pray-Amen***
