Promises

Image
2 Corinthians 1:20 (NASB)- "For as many are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us."     Numbers 23:19 (NASB)- "God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent; has He not said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"     Isaiah 55:11 (NASB)- "So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."      These scriptures, amongst others, have been ringing in my spirit these past few weeks. The promises that have been declared over my life and that of others is soon coming to pass. I know everyone says this all the time, but there is a difference in this upcoming season. God is ready, over-ready, and openly-willing to unload plenteous blessings to His fold...

Public Service Announcement

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)- "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."      Hey guys! So, this blog won't be extra long, lengthy, or fall of lofty words. I really inquired the Lord about  this one, and I sensed God just wanted me to present a quick suggestion or insight for this holiday approaching...Christmas. I am not going to go all-in, just yet, on the actual demonic roots that are attached to this day, but I did want to leave a few nuggets.      I started with 2 Timothy 2:15 because it is always the responsible thing for us to do to study God's Word continuously so we can rightly divide His Word, live by it, and spiritually discern what doesn't live up to His law. We don't  easily want to just follow what auntie, uncle, and the whole family did since we were younger and just call it "tradition". Don't get me wrong. This i...

The Blank Slate

Image
Psalm 19:7 (NASB)- "The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple."     This past week, during my time with the Lord in studying, God really opened up my eyes and His heart in regards to why people turn out the way they are. Not everyone was raised with the Word of God, not everyone had nifty sayings that referred to scripture, and not everyone prays in the four walls of their households. We, referring to me,  can get so caught up in our own realities that we lose focus on the  realities of others. We don't consider the blank slate (soul ie mind, will, emotions, heart) that others had for people to have the privilege, audacity, and responsibility to write and inscribe their own beliefs on.      This all stems from me reading about King Solomon in 1Kings 3:7 (NASB), which says "Now, O Lord my God, You have made...

Remnant of David, Arise!

Image
1 Samuel 17: 45-47 (NASB)- "Then David said to the Philistine, 'You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord's and He will give you into our hands.' "     There is a war-cry arising and manifesting from the saints of the Lord, specifically the remnant of David; those who are willing to stand on the front lines of what looks like defeat. There has already been a spiritual battle, but n...

I Trust You!

Image
Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)- "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."     The word "trust" in Hebrew means to have confidence in, be confident, to be bold, to be secure, to cause to trust, make secure, to feel safe, be careless. Isaiah 26:3 was pin-pointed out to me this past week because I was trying to think of keeping a sound-mind, renewed, staying in peace, and so forth. Then, the Holy Spirit presented this scripture to me; I know this was from the Lord because this verse was nowhere near my mind at the time. The Lord pointed it out for a reason. When the Lord directs you to something specific, be on high alert because a lesson is always at play.      God wanted me to look at this verse in its' totality; like we should do for anything we read. If I keep my mind stayed on the Lord, then I will be at perfect peace. However, I am only at perfect peace because I...
