Unity

Image
Ephesians 4:14-16 (NASB) “As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”  Definitions: -The state of being united or joined as a whole  Something clicked as I was reading the building of the tabernacle, and how everyone worked together for something so big and so meaningful. The place to worship, sacrifice, cover the sins of the Israelites, a dwelling place for the Presence of God Himself, and so much more. There’s so much symbolism and Jesus in each and every detail.  However, the point of this blog was to point out the unity...

Pure

Psalm 24:1-6 (NASB) “The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face—even Jacob.”  Definitions: -Not mixed or adulterated with any other substance or material -Without any extraneous and unnecessary elements  -Free of any contamination  May we be a pure and undefiled church. May the body of Christ lay down everything that hinders our forward progress and movement. May the altars that we have set up be torn down by the fire of God. Let any open door that we’ve allowed open spiritually be brought before the courts of...

Can I Just Love On You?

Image
Can I just love on you? Can I just tell you how awesome it is to serve you? Can I just say it is so fulfilling to serve your people through you? Lord, you are amazing. Jesus you are so fulfilling. You make me smile. I cry when I don’t know why I am crying. When I think of everything you have done for me Jesus and for the world, I sit in amazement. How could I sit and not worship and give you the constant, consistent praise? You are so deserving. You are so consistent. Jesus, you have taught me to be consistent and disciplined. Do I get it right everytime? Of course not, but man do you stay there with me the entire time. What a gracious Saviour I serve! Can I just love on you for a moment? For eternity? I am starting to see and experience why the angels cry holy, holy, holy every time they see a different face/side of you. What an awesome God you are! I love you and I honor you. I say this all the time because I mean it. What a reverential fear of you I have. I repent and apologiz...

Distractions

Image
There are a lot of things, people, circumstances, and situations that can be deemed as distractions…and quite frankly they probably are. The beginning of 2025 has shown us these things. There is a lot to pray about, a lot to cast down, out, and destroy, and a lot that has worn people out.  People are becoming distracted with the latest prophecy, the latest terrorist attack, and the latest encounter. I have seen this pulling away from the image of Christ, from God’s person, and it’s happening at an alarming and fast rate. There seems to be a focus on everything but Jesus.  Heavy disclaimer: if you are being led to do whatever God has truly called you to do at that moment, then do it, but there just seems to be an overload. When there is an overload, it tends to lead to confusion and a lack of focus. When I see an overload of events taking place, or sense a lot occurring all at once, it’s time to increase my own personal prayer time. Matthew 14:23 “After He had sent the c...
