Unity

Ephesians 4:14-16 (NASB)

“As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”

Definitions: -The state of being united or joined as a whole

Something clicked as I was reading the building of the tabernacle, and how everyone worked together for something so big and so meaningful. The place to worship, sacrifice, cover the sins of the Israelites, a dwelling place for the Presence of God Himself, and so much more. There’s so much symbolism and Jesus in each and every detail.

However, the point of this blog was to point out the unity the Israelites had. They all shared the same heart, mind, and vision. Basically, they understood the assignment. How would that look like today? Man! How strong that would be if the church had the mind of Christ? If, at least most, didn’t have a selfish or business-ran church mentality? If we were knowledgeable of the tangible Presence of Jesus?

There’s so much power in unity and knowing the results thereof. How is it satan’s kingdom knows how to work better than the church? Have we been in alignment with his kingdom more than that of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? Wake up! Who are we really serving? Who’s table are we really eating off of? What taste does it leave in your mouth, and when digested how well does it really sit on your stomach?

What is our appetite church? Have we lost the fire of God? Have we went so far astray that the actual Word of God means nothing? God has shown me to me. He showed me with my nose in my Bible. It was a gentle rebuke but one that was definitely needed. It was a vision that spoke volumes saying, “You’re not reading enough daughter.” Theres an “enough” to the amount of time we spend with Jesus in our Word.

God wants us to consume our Word. He wants this to be our daily consumption, especially nowadays with so much confusion and misguidance from just turning on our television. Can you discern the times? Can you discern when you’re being deceived? The church, if united and in one day, can flip satan’s kingdom upside-down and destroy it to ashes. We hold the power! We, through Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, tear down principalities and strongholds.

Who do you really think you are? What has the world beaten down into your systems so much that you think you’re less than and not good enough? You hold heaven in your belly! Don’t let the world and word curses stick to your spirit. You rebuke and renounce anything that comes up against what God says you are. You don’t know who you are? Start in His Word. He will tell you and love on you, and minister to you if you are hungry, your spirit is open, and if you are willing to say “yes”.

Let our unity arise church for there is work to do.

***Let’s pray!!! Father, we thank you for your viewpoint of unity and what that looks like when we come together to pray. What a glory, family, and light that is cultivated that cannot be touched nor moved. Father, your Kingdom is stronger than anything the devil could even try to muster up. Lord, we repent for not being steadfast and secure in you. Lord, we repent for dragging our feet in even getting to know you. Lord, we repent! We repent for allowing the enemy to place a veil over our eyes, ears, and our spirits. We command these veils to be lifted and destroyed now by the fire of God. We wield our swords in the spirit and cut up and impale anything that has tried to come up against your churches. Father, continue to give unto us and impart deeper revelation of what it means to truly move together as one body in Christ. What a powerhouse you have made us to be when we work together with no agenda nor pride. Strip us and refine us so we can truly know what is means to move in the spirit with you. We love you and honor you. In Jesus’ Name we pray—Amen.***
