Lean into Me

Image
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV) "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."  Lean into Me Every worry, every doubt Lean into Me Every yoke, every burden  Lean into Me My yoke is easy, My burden is light Lean into Me Lean into Me When you’re feeling lonely Lean into Me This hope will never leave If only you just lean into Me Lean into Me I am always here and have never left Lean into Me Lean into Me Let Me fully embrace you Lean into Me This is a trust that you can trust in A trust that cannot be broken Lean into Me I will never leave you nor forsake you Lean into Me Lean into Me For your weakness is My strength Lean into Me Why do you feel you have to do this alone Lean into Me There you will hear My heartbeat Lean into Me Here you will abide Lean into Me The true Vine Lean into ...

02Jan2023: Submission

Image
"Just the act of submission will do wonders." This is what God had spoken to me last year. Has anyone ever noticed how you treat the Lord in your relationship with him is how you're going to treat almost everyone else? Why would it be easy to disrespect your neighbor if this is a common act with God? In my blog about "Love", it's mentioned that how I learned how to genuinely love my husband was by focusing and loving on Jesus.      How can we properly learn if not from the Creator; the main one who gave us the ability to? Sometimes it's not this big mystery, but following the word of the Lord and how Holy Spirit counsels. Just the word "submission" is harder than you think when that part of your flesh hasn't died yet...pride. It takes humility to submit to another, but again, how much easier it is when the act is done before God.     Even if we get out of character every-now-and-then, God literally ropes us back in,...

Mentally Renewed

Image
The saying, "Paralysis by over-analysis" is definitely true. I believe I added the "over" in there for myself but you get the point.  😊       Did you know your mindset could be your own prison, your own setback, and even your own delay? This topic registered with me so much because recently I kept saying over and over again to Donnell (husband), "I feel like the enemy is trying to come after my mind." Of course, there are reasons this came to me, but that'll be for a later discussion.Yes, there are other things that can delay your promise and forward movement, but your mind is definitely a powerful one. I had never really seen it like this before as I was reading why God had to take the Israelites on an alternate route, but that's how it was recently revealed to me. It was even confirmed and expanded on in our Bible Study! Like what?!      Anyway, God knew the condition of their minds, an...

Doorpost

Exodus 12:23 (NASB) “For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.”       Prayer has been the main topic of discussion lately, and for reasons the discerning of times would understand ( 1 Chron 12:32, KJV/ Gen 41:33-36, NASB) . There have been prophecies, insight, revelation, hints, clues, and the more that have screamed over and over again to pray. This is not a fad or something you think you should do out of routine, but something you should literally do out of necessity. If it’s done out of routine, where's the connection? Is there one?      A few years’ ago, me and my husband were in conversation and I had mentioned that prayer is so underrated nowadays, and sadly has been this way for a while. We have slowly, but surely, been lured more and more away from the importanc...

Hard Truths

Image
"What else is there?!" This is the question I would ask God in my head or in prayer times. This question derived from being in a place of transition when I didn't even know God was working me through this process. "Oh, you mean now?" I'd ask God when it's actually time to shift in life.      You know when you're like, "I'm ready to get out of here. They don't treat me right, etc etc," concerning your job. Just straight talking foolishness and careless words (Prov 18:21, NASB) . *Now, this isn't for everybody, so please listen carefully when I say this. Please, don't up and quit without a clear "Go" from Holy Spirit. Just like God saw and heard the cry of the Israelites, he also hears your cries, complaints, and so on, so be careful of what comes out of your mouth and learn to bridle your tongue (James 3:1-12, NASB) .       The issue is when the Lord tries to transition you, and your mind is still in Egy...
