Behold to Ascend

Joshua 1:8 (NASB95)

“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.”


I behold the face of Jesus to ascend 

Ascend the mountain of destiny

Ascend the mountain of glory

I behold that which I meditate on 

I behold and I wait

While I wait, I build

I build and I prepare

I research and I plan with Holy Spirit

I am led, guided, and sure of His voice and guidance

I am girded by His Word

Allowing this to be my footstool and firm foundation

I behold so I can become

Become what’s now been revealed

Revealed through prayer

Revealed through fasting

Revealed through intimate moments with Jesus

Revealed by just asking Holy Spirit

Revealed through experience

I am beholding with all intentionality

I am intentional for what the Lord wants for me

I am beholding what the Lord has always desired for me

I am beholding the seed placed in me that is beginning to bloom

Bloom into the flower of manifestation

I am beholding all that’s in the face of Jesus

There’s creativity, there’s joy, there’s pleasures forevermore

I am being specific in my beholding

For what I behold this has come to pass

I behold not in doubt

But with all surety it’s already happened

I behold until what I behold I’m walking into 

I’m walking into because I have been beholding

I have been speaking God’s Word over that which I behold

I have been declaring a thing

And now I am seeing the fruit thereof

From what I behold, I apply the wisdom of the Lord

And I move

I move in faith and not doubt

I move not knowing everything but the Word of God and what He has shown me

What He shows, that which I move in

It’s simple but difficult at the same time

Rewiring the mind to think and see as God sees and moves

Let’s behold to ascend together 


***Father, we thank you that all are coming into the realization, that through you, do we have dominion. We have dominion over the outcomes of our lives by the conditions of our souls. Help us to take care of that which you have given to us. Lead us to our prayer closets to spend more and more time with you. Father, we repent for not taking out the time to behold your face and just wait; just wait with you and on you for our next move. Lord, we repent for moving ahead of you when there was still work to be done within our very selves. Father, we love you and will continue to love on you. May we always praise and lift you up regardless of how we may feel or look even unto ourselves. May we see ourselves and others how you see. May we look through your lens and view/perspective on us and our lives. We thank you Lord that you are showing us that we are true sons and daughters through Jesus Christ. I thank you that you are even taking us step by step in learning what this truly means. We thank you for your patience, grace, and your mercy that never fails and that never ends. We love you, honor you, and appreciate you. In Jesus’ Name—Amen.***

Unexplainable...

Numbers 23:18-19 “God is not a son of man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”  Isaiah 55:8-9 “‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.’” Some things are unexplainable because God isn’t done writing that part of your story. Some things are better yet not talked about because the Lord wants to do the talking. The Lord wants to be the author of your story. Not all times requires our input or narrative. Let God be the narrator of your story as you co-labor with Him. He wants to co-labor with His sons and daughters. He wants to collaborate and then watch you do the work with your hands, as He leads and guides you by His Spirit. My whole perspective changed.
