Speak Life

Image
Proverbs 18:20-21 (NASB95) “With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; he will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” James 3:5 (NASB95) “So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!”  I have had a complete mind change once I started speaking the Word of God and His promises over me and my husband’s lives. My whole perspective changed. I started out kind of rocky, due to what I actually would see in front of my face, but the more I spoke and worked toward what I spoke, the more everything made perfect sense. The more I saw change before my very eyes. As I spoke, my mind began to transform. I started to actually live in the spiritual realm. I started to live in the realm of faith. This realm boosted (and is still boosting) my confidence in the promises of God. There’s ...

Transition

Genesis 12:1-3 (NASB95) “Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”  I’m finding one of the hardest things to change is character which starts in the mind from how you perceive things to be. If the proximity to Holy Spirit is very close and the reliance upon Him is undeniable, what may seem impossible to most will be possible to you because you know Him. You know the person of the Holy Spirit. There’s no denying the possibilities of this spiritual place that we cannot see with our natural eyes but live in with our spirits.  I am realizing, and have learned, that the bigger the call the harder the tests during transition...

Stand

Exodus 14:13 (NASB95) “But Moses said to the people, ‘Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians who you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.”  We thank you Lord that you are building strong warriors in this time. We thank you that you are aligning and realigning things and situations on our behalf and for the sake of others. We thank you that, with us and your community of believers, that  you have been building and growing roots in the ground behind the scenes. Lord, you are always One that is creating, building, and planning.  We trust in you and we trust in your timing. May we not go before you and strive to do and be what you have not ordained, but let us be truly lifted and exalted by you which in turn glorifies you anyway. We thank you Lord that you already had a plan before we opened up our mouths to say it. Father, you are an awesome and thoughtful Father.  We th...

It's Not About You

Matthew 25:40 (NASB95) “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”  We hear this statement all the time amongst the Kingdom community. That it is about Jesus and for Him to receive the glory. That we are to live a selfless life fully dedicated to the Lord. I literally write about it all the time. I promise you I am not leading to blasphemy or wrong teaching. The point of all of this is to truly look at, evaluate, and live a selfless life. How much of this life is truly not our own? All of it.  How can we truly know this unless experienced and tested in some way? Everything that was placed inside of us to do; everything we are gifted in all points back to Jesus. Down to our very own creation was not about us really but to magnify and exalt the Lord. Our eyes, mouths, the very words that we speak, and our overall work should be to glorify and represen...
