Wait For the Lord

Psalms 27:14

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord.”

After the message

After the vision

After the impression

After the prophetic word from the Lord, then what?

Of course you pray into the word that was graciously given to you

You seek the face of the Lord and His wisdom on how to carry this word out

How about if the word is not even for now but later?

Seek the Lord concerning the when

He will bring it into pass, but it is our job to prepare

It is our job to build

And, when looking back at your obedience to Holy Spirit’s movements

You were fulfilling the call all along

There are steps

There are crumbs

There are healings and deliverances all that need to take place

And all the while fulfillment is taking place

God doesn’t want us to be unprepared

Or unable to handle the weight of our call

That’s why resilience, endurance, and character are being built

So, at the end, you are steadfast and unmovable, abounding in His Work

When in the Presence of the Lord

There is a peace you take with you wherever you go

That is unmatched

A peace even more when you’re being obedient

A peace that knows, without a shadow of a doubt, “this is God

And I will not move until He says

I will continue to do what He initially said in the first place”

If there ever is a sort of stall in life

Maybe what God originally said to do has not been performed or even started

There is no shame in going back to what God knows will work

The question is: do you know and have faith that it will work?

God does things in order for a reason

One thing leads to the next and so on

I am personally learning this

And to not look at it as being behind

The only person you’re behind is yourself

The only pressure you have is the pressure you put on yourself

God will test your patience and faith in Him by making you wait

While you build

And while you’re being obedient can you wait?

Can you not be distracted by the winds and waves

Or will you continue to walk on water focused on Jesus?

Obedience, focus, patience, faith

All these God is developing into your pure, manifestation of your promises

But also of His character

***Lord, I thank you that you are giving us more and more revelation of what it means and looks like to wait on you. To not go ahead of you but just what it looks like to enjoy the process; to enjoy the journey. Even if the journey comes with sacrifices and giving up those things/idols we thought we loved and could not do without. Father, you are such a great Father that none can deny. Even those who’ve tried to deny you, your Presence is unmatched and inevitable. We love how you teach us and how there is a lesson in everything. Father, let us not go by another day without recognizing you in everything. We love you Father. We love you Jesus. We love you Holy Spirit. Let this intimate relationship grow that much deeper and that much stronger as time goes. In Jesus’ Name, we pray---Amen.***
