Authentic

 

Isaiah 29: 13-16

“Then the Lord said, ‘Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote, therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.’ Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord, and whose deeds are done in a dark place, and they say, ‘Who sees us?’ or ‘Who knows us?’ You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, that what is made would say to its maker, ‘He did not make me’; or what is formed say to him who formed it, ‘He has no understanding?’” 

Jesus, the perfect example of what it means to be authentic, the perfect example of what it means to be loving, compassionate, and caring. 

There is definitely an unveiling of sorts for all to be seen within ourselves as well as others.

I have mentioned this before in the sorts of God doing the unveiling.

The Lord is doing the unveiling of hearts, minds, souls, agendas, foxes, and so on.

This unveiling is to reveal the authentic.

This unveiling is so when the authentic is revealed under the glory of God things can be taken care of and God’s agenda and truth can carry on.

It is only in true authenticity of God’s movements that we we will carry on and survive.

It is only in the true, authentic moves of God will revival come and be sustained.

We, in the Kingdom of God, don’t define authentic as “our truth”, but we define it as the truth of God according to His Word.

God moves by law which is His truth.

He does not move out of order.

What did He say the first time?

How was it stated the first time?

Was there urgency, as in right now timing, or was there a future-tense to the message?

The authentic is being exposed and is coming to the light more and more all by the workings and hands of God.

Without people having to try, their light is being exposed by the hand of God.

Out of obedience, trial, and error, the Lord is truly revealing the authentic from what has been taking up space.

The authentic vs what has no depth.

The authentic to bring fire and make the earth tremble.

I even see those who did not even have the best intentions at first being converted to authenticity rooted in God’s Word.

What wasn’t real, by the fear of the Lord, will be converted to real.

What used to be a stage act and/or performance, no longer will be.

The fear of the Lord is bringing all to repentance.

Exposing to the stage-actors the true need for repentance, and that the positions they’re holding should be taken seriously.

Either those in heads of churches will sit down and resign, continue in shenanigans, repent and change, or be left in the hands of God’s vengeance.

God is so gracious and merciful but definitely not one to be messed around and played with. 

***Father, we thank you for your mercy. Lord, we thank you for your grace. Father, we thank you that you value authenticity and your truth…the truth of your Word over any and everything else. Lord, may we always move in this way and in your truth. May we always move in the ways of our big brother Jesus Christ. May we move in love even when our flesh doesn’t feel like it or want to. Lord, those things that you expose to us, and that no one else will understand, may we go to the closet in prayer and talk to you about it. May not our lips run to gossip or our feet into mischief, but may we always be ones of integrity and truth. Father, may we love our neighbors as we love you. Lord, you see no partiality and you are not a respecter of persons, so may we live out these truths. May we always be walkers of your Word and not just hearers. We want to walk out your Word. Any areas within our souls that need healing, reveal it to us Lord and let us be healed to see and perceive correctly. How can we perceive and see correctly through shaded lens? We love you and will continue to honor and respect you. In Jesus’ Name we pray—Amen.***
