Souls

Image
Luke 10:2 “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few, therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  Souls!  Souls to be saved.  Souls to be revived from the grave.  Souls to be mended and put back together. Who is the mender of souls? There is only one and His name is Jesus Christ. How will this happen? This will happen through His Kingdom citizens Those who are not afraid to preach the gospel Those who are not afraid to share their testimony with others of how it was Jesus who brought them out of prostitution, gang violence, homosexuality, confusion, suicide, depression, and the more Jesus is the Healer Jesus is the Deliverer Jesus is the Provider Lifting up the name of Jesus is our safekeeping Giving your life to Him is your safekeeping Being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is your safekeeping  He is your Safe-keeper Oh what better security there is to have Being baptized in ...

Look at Yourself

Image
Psalm 119:71-72; 80 “It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces. May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, so that I will not be ashamed.” Look at yourself  Take introspection  Look at yourself Take a moment Look at yourself Let Holy Spirit dissect you Look at yourself Let Holy Spirit search your heart Look at yourself And open up yourself in vulnerability to Jesus  Look at yourself Process and learn what submission means with Jesus being the prime example Look at yourself Do you see Jesus? Do you see your Father? Look at yourself What’s broken? What needs to be healed? Look at yourself And ask Holy Spirit what needs to be mended, healed, and/or delivered Look at yourself And stop looking at everyone else Look at yourself And stop comparing to everyone else Look at yourself  And stop coveting everyone else’s things and/or lives Look at yourself And tak...

Authentic

Isaiah 29: 13-16 “Then the Lord said, ‘Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote, therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.’ Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord, and whose deeds are done in a dark place, and they say, ‘Who sees us?’ or ‘Who knows us?’ You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, that what is made would say to its maker, ‘He did not make me’; or what is formed say to him who formed it, ‘He has no understanding?’”  Jesus, the perfect example of what it means to be authentic, the perfect example of what it means to be loving, compassionate, and caring.  There is definitely an unveiling of sorts for all to...

Unexplainable...

Image
Numbers 23:18-19 “God is not a son of man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”  Isaiah 55:8-9 “‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.’” Some things are unexplainable because God isn’t done writing that part of your story. Some things are better yet not talked about because the Lord wants to do the talking. The Lord wants to be the author of your story. Not all times requires our input or narrative. Let God be the narrator of your story as you co-labor with Him. He wants to co-labor with His sons and daughters. He wants to collaborate and then watch you do the work with your hands, as He leads and guides you by His Spirit. Unexplainable is the title because what God is doing in this hour cannot be put into one...
