Awakening
2 Chronicles 7:14
“And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Acts 9:17-19
“So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit,’ and immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; and he took food and was strengthened.”
There’s been a mass awakening…or should I say re-awakening. Awakening to the dealings of movements of God. People, who you wouldn’t have expected, are starting to pick up their Bibles looking for answers. There are people not only looking for answers, but most importantly, looking for Jesus! Jesus in the scriptures and Jesus in the Word (John 1:1)!
What a time we are in. There are awakenings happening in the spiritual dealings of our hearts and our minds. There are awakenings happening to most to go into their prayer closets and stay there until they find answers and solutions. There are the kind of awakenings where the true lights of the Kingdom of God are being revealed for the end-times.
Awaken and harken unto the voice of the true prophets of the time. Awaken and harken unto the still, small voice that tells you which direction to go and who to listen to. Awaken and submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Awaken nations. Awaken America. Awaken and see the ruin you have caused. Awaken and see the revival that’s brewing and is here and is now. Awaken and repent for the Kingdom of heaven is here. Awaken!
There is nothing better than to see the veil being removed, the light becoming brighter, and everything coming to the forefront good and bad. As on a stage and for public sacrifice, the shaking has brought all deeds, actions, acts of kindness, words spoken, and all, and has set them before the Lord to be judged and dealt with (1Cor 3:13-15). Thank you Lord for doing this now and giving us the opportunity to make the right decision while we are still using these bodies here on earth!
Let us be awakened again back into the Garden of Eden. Let us all come back to our first love…Jesus Christ. Let us be found with oil in our lamps and our fire lit. Let us be found with the blood of Jesus on our doorpost. Let us be found with an altar to Jesus and not to foolish, miscellaneous things of this world. Let not our altar be an altar of self, but let our altar be the focus of Jesus and His cares of this nation. Father, we repent for being selfish and so focused on ourselves that we couldn’t, and weren’t able, to see Israel. That we weren’t able to see, focus, hone in, and pray for the apple of your eye. Lord, we repent! We repent for being so consumed with the cares of this world, that we forgot to pray into your cares and your heart. Lord, we thank you for the shaking that has caused us to be awakened. We thank you that you have told us over and over again to get in-gear and do your work. Father, we repent for dragging our feet, being nonchalant, and being like the five foolish virgins with no oil to show. We repent for burying our talents when it could’ve saved a nation. Lord, thank you for never giving up on us, and using multiple, countless ways to get our attention. We feel and we know the time is near for the return of Jesus, so we will be the remnant that will be ready. In Jesus’ Name—Amen.***
