Ruthless Intercessor

Luke 23:34

“But Jesus was saying, ‘Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.’”

Don’t be a ruthless intercessor

One that has no love in their hearts

One who goes for the gutter and doesn’t look back

One who swipes off the head of the enemy and doesn’t look back to check on the person

Don’t be a ruthless intercessor

Because in the word itself is love

In the word itself is compassion

You have to have love and compassion for those you know and don’t know

You have to have compassion and love for those who you know are backbiting against you

You have to have compassion

Don’t be a ruthless intercessor

Whom God has trusted you with the equipment and wisdom behind it

But then uses it to tear up and destroy everything in their path

Don’t be a ruthless intercessor

Who has no integrity with the Father

But uses hidden information to be made a spectacle of themselves

Don’t be a flashy intercessor

Whom self is the motive

And not others

Whom love comes last but exposure through prayer comes first

Don’t be a ruthless intercessor

But be a hidden one

Be a humble one

Be a warrior intercessor

Whom someone once said “fights on their knees”

March on your knees

Fall to your face

But by all means

And with a hearty warning

Do not be a ruthless intercessor

It’s an oxymoron

It doesn’t even make sense

Intercede

Stand up for what’s right according to the Word of God

And play your part on the wall

If you’re the breach

Get off and let someone else do the job that needs to be done

Until ready and serious to do the job

Don’t be a ruthless, careless intercessor

***Let’s Pray!!! Father, thank you for leading, guiding, and directing us to pray for our counterparts. Thank you that we can look at ourselves and allow you to clean and wash away anything that’s not like you. Father, clean us a pure until we look more and more like you without spot or wrinkle. Father, we love you and honor you. Help us to know more and more what a true intercessor looks like by looking at your Son  and our brother Jesus Christ. Help us to better understand and gain a revelation of the cross and the blood that was shed on our behalf as a part and form of intercession before Jesus having to open His mouth. Jesus! Your life, on behalf of us all, was intercession from beginning to the end. We love you and will be forever grateful. In Jesus’ Name we pray—Amen.***
