The Closer...
Exodus 33:18 (NASB)
“Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me your glory!”
Psalm 139:7, 23-24 (TPT)
“Where could I go from your Spirit? Where could I run and hide from your face? See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way—the path that brings me back to you.”
The closer you become
The more you repent
The closer you become
The more you die to your flesh
The closer you become
The more you start to see yourself
Not just outside
But what lies inside
The closer you become into the image of Christ
The more you repent daily
The closer you become
The more you feel unworthy
The closer you become
The more you love as Jesus loves
The closer you become
The more you start to see as Jesus sees
The closer you become
The more you feel the heart of the Father
The closer you become
The easier it is to forgive thy neighbor
The closer you become
The easier it is to bless thy brother
The closer you become
The easier it is to be merciful to one another
The closer you become
Intercession for one another is a commonplace and necessity
The closer you become
The more you’ll stay on your knees and face
The closer
The closer
The closer
The closer
Is where we all desire knowingly or not
The closer we become
Is the closer God desires
The endless streams and rivers
God is pulling all closer
***Let’s Pray!!! We thank you Lord for taking this time to pull all of us closer to you. Thank you for showing us to us so there’s still time to repent and turn from our wicked ways. We repent for being callous towards one another; not having and/or expressing your heart in all genuinity. Help us stay in the spirit, walk in the spirit, and stay in your Word. We understand that life gets busy, but Lord, let us make time for you as you always make time for us. We repent for placing you on the backburner when you should always be at the front. Return our direction to the true Provider, Healer, and Deliverer of all our needs, wants, prayers, and intercessions. Father, in whatever areas of our lives that need to be humbled, we pray you do a quick work now. We honor you, appreciate you, and acknowledge the pull into the closer space with you. In Jesus’ Name we pray—Amen.***
