There's a Faith...

Image
Hebrews 11:3, 7, 8-10 (KJV) “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.  By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”  There’s a faith That’s unmovable A faith that grows  With time and experience A faith that matures When we decide to be “dicey” according to the natural eye A faith that is pleasing...

The Closer...

Image
Exodus 33:18 (NASB) “Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me your glory!” Psalm 139:7, 23-24 (TPT) “Where could I go from your Spirit? Where could I run and hide from your face? See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way—the path that brings me back to you.”  The closer you become  The more you repent The closer you become The more you die to your flesh The closer you become The more you start to see yourself Not just outside But what lies inside The closer you become into the image of Christ The more you repent daily The closer you become The more you feel unworthy The closer you become The more you love as Jesus loves The closer you become  The more you start to see as Jesus sees The closer you become The more you feel the heart of the Father The closer you become The easier it is to forgive thy neighbor The closer you become The easier it is to bless thy brother The closer you become  The easier it is to be me...

Pearls and Pigs

Image
Matthew 7:6 (NASB) “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” Honestly, I have been hesitant to write about this for a while now, but I believe it is well needed not just for me but for others as well. There is so much captivated within this simple but profound scripture. This scripture brings to light how much value God places on your gifts, calling, etc…what He has originally created in and within you to do.  I know I touched on this before, but just think about how valuable you are in the process it took for God, your Father, to make you. He took His time and made sure that what He placed inside of you was going to have such an impact on the world and/or people, that no one could deny it was God’s hand and God’s doing. Just think about how disappointed our Father would be and grieved in His heart He is to see and hear His creation going to waste. This leads me to my p...

Repent

Image
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Jonah 3:6, 9-10 (NASB) “When the word reached the king of Ninevah, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes. ‘Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we will not perish.’ When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.”  Father, we thank you for what you are doing; what it seems like behind the scenes but in plain sight. We thank you for covering our children and the next generations after that. Father, we repent for siding with the enemy in our arguments, complaints, and even voting. Father, we repent for not being know...

Weight in the Waiting

Image
Hebrews 12:8 (TPT) “We all should welcome God’s discipline as the validation of authentic sonship. For if we have never once endured his correction it only proves we are strangers and not sons.”  What a pleasure it is to wait When you know what is being done When you know, realize, and appreciate God’s handiwork How He’s adding, subtracting, dividing all for your good It may hurt to wait But what a pleasure in the end to see the fruit of your labor To see the weight that has been added Through mantles, glory, and the more To see new uniforms, weaponry all for the moments ahead What a pleasure it is to be in the waiting room The waiting room to analyze, to study, to meditate, and to pray To fast, to discover, and to (most importantly) build a relationship with Jesus What a pleasure What a pleasure it is to sit back and observe everything God has already done And continues to do And is in the process of doing It’s done! It’s not in who can get there faster It’s appreciating the proce...
