Psalm 24:3-6
Psalm 24:3-6 (NASB)
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face–even Jacob.”
The right heart. With what heart are we doing things for the Kingdom of God? Is there a frequent heart check on deck, or has our flesh consumed this part of reality? Have we truly laid down self, died to our flesh, and repented daily for those things we allow to slip in and devour us?
God had to check me, and still does from time to time, in regards to why I do certain things. Holy Spirit makes sure my foundations are pure in coming before Him. Why start off dirty? If your foundation starts off impure and with the wrong heart, intention, and agenda, then this eventually will be exposed if not dealt with, and the fall will be that much harder. Aren’t you glad we have a merciful Father who gives us warning after warning and nudge after nudge? My God today, thank you Lord!
The reason you see the exposures by God, the downfall of highly respected people, and so forth, is because God is cleaning house. Whatever does not have a pure foundation must fall. This isn’t to be mean but it is just and we do serve a just God who does, and will, follow His law. He is stuck to what He has already said. What God speaks is law. There is literally no way around that.
No one knows their time when God will allow things to come in and discipline us, based off of the open doors we’ve created in the spirit. Why not just close that door early on so you don’t have to find out? Who knows. Maybe there will be less repercussions for our stubbornness.
Again, this is short, but God is cleaning every temple He created on this earth. He is cleaning the depths of our hearts to return to Him in all fullness and with all joy. Lay it all bare now before the throne of grace, before whatever it is, is laid before men. This isn’t a warning based out of fear of man, but a warning based out of mere respect, reverence, fear, and love for Jesus Christ. Do your due-diligence, as I am aiming and practicing to do every day.
***Let’s Pray! Father we repent for not having the right heart before you; for coming before you with unclean hands and an unclean heart. Search the deeper things of our hearts, Lord, and reveal them unto us. Make us go deeper with you and into deeper realms with you. Father, we are tired of the status quo and what is forced/placed in front of our faces day by day. We want the real thing, and that is you. We want the real relationship, and that falls with you. We break and speak to whatever is in our bloodlines that stems from the root of bitterness and cancel its assignment now by the blood of Jesus. We speak to those altars that set out to destroy us and hinder us from moving forward in our true destinies. We speak to them, renounce them, and break their powers now by the fire of God. God rain down fire on our enemies! We are the head and not the tail. We call forth and command the East winds to bring judgment to our enemies now. We pray Father that you convict their hearts, and return them back to their first love. We love and honor you deeply. In Jesus’ Name—Amen.***
