The Potter and the Clay

Image
Genesis 1:26-27 (NASB) “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”  The potter and the clay. Whew! What else really can be said in this intimate, simple, yet profound metaphor? This metaphor/symbolism of how God really took His time with you and me to orchestrate and create such a masterpiece because everything God creates is not going to be second-hand. This should not build up pride in us or this pompous attitude, but better yet, it should even-the-more instill a humility.  This humility should stem from the mere thought of everything God did, and the time spent to create what He knew would do great things for His Kingdom here on earth. Just imagine every single detail from the...

2 Peter 3:7-9

There's so much to say, and honestly, much has been said or spoken of already. Whether it be my me, others, people you trust in, or those you don't...a lot has been said and there's a lot to talk about. However, just because there's a lot to be talked about does not give us the right to talk about it. If anything, our first action should be to pray and intercede concerning the state of our nation and this world. Prophecy is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes, and most have turned a blind eye to it. Not wanting to believe the scriptures, most have fallen into a state of walking slumber, surrounded by a cloud of darkness filled with confusion and acceptance of just about anything. The common theme/words I keep hearing lately are oil and repentance . This brings the questions: how much oil is in your lamp and have you been repenting daily (Rev 2:5, NASB) ? No one lives a perfect life, and if you think so, you're living in your own delusion.  God is calling us ...

John 3:16

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,  as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” John 3:16 (KJV) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  I see hearts have grown calloused and cold But oddly enough an inward desire for God This inward desire is like an infant crying out for its mother This cry from the depths of the soul and from the pit of the stomach Yearns for a true father; a true mother; a true confidant; a true guidance; a true clarity This heart desires for a heart of flesh A heart of the true and only Father This heart yearns for Jesus This heart yearns for the Holy Spirit to guide and co...
