Location

 

Matthew 21:45-46 (NASB)

"When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them. When they sought to seize Him, they feared the people, because they considered Him to be a prophet." 

Upon reading this I received that, depending on your location spiritually, is where your able to receive the most freely from. I also remember our spiritual father teaching on this one night as well. Me and my husband were floored. 

This brings up so many questions like: "Do you know where your spiritual location is?" "What do receive the most freely?" "Do I have a healthy location?" Referring back to the scripture, I just thought it interesting how the Pharisees' ears seemed to be shut off to everything else Jesus had to say except when it referred to their demise. They had a different location. 

This is frightening when it comes to the church today. Is there even a heavenly, spiritual location? Is there a Kingdom (of God) location? The obvious answer would be "no". The lamp stands have gone dim to almost, if not already, no more (Rev 1:20, KJV). The attention is given to the plenty distractions of this world ie the pride of life, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes (1 Jhn 2:16, KJV). This is a sad but honest, blatant truth that many have been rocked to sleep to, not realizing how the next generation will be effected by such...and honestly not really caring which is even more sad.

However, all is not lost because God always provides ahead of time. He's placing a fire and a hunger in the bellies of the remnant who see ahead and know the things to come. These people will honestly be game changers who know their location and stand firm in it regardless of the consequences. I can see a lot of young people, but honestly just those in general of all ages, who are tired of seeing the same cycles of turmoil ending in nothing but a life down-spiral or even death (Jhn 10:10, KJV).  

Will you stand firm in your location of the Kingdom of God, or will you fall pressure to the devil and his many devices? What have you given your attention to? What do you feed your eyes and ears on a daily? Is it his Word, his face, his Presence? We don't have to lock ourselves from the realities of the world, but we do need to find our location in Jesus and stay there. 

***Let's Pray!!! Lord, we thank you for your mercy that finds us where we are and pulls us back in. We thank you for being a gracious God, but we do not take this for granted nor abuse it. Lord, we repent for finding ourselves in the wrong location, when all along we thought it was with you but truly with the world. Gain our attention back on you and the things of the spirit so we don't have to constantly go through the up and down cycle. We want to stay with you always. We speak to any stronghold or altar we have been feeding that has placed an idol or idols in our lives, and we call fire down on these altars to be destroyed to ashes. We no longer want to entertain what has demonic foundations and no scent of Jesus anywhere in it. We love you and are committed. In Jesus' Name---Amen.***
