#truth

Romans 3:4 (TPT)

“Absolutely not! God will always be proven faithful and true to his word, while people are proven to be liars. This will fulfill what was written in the Scriptures: Your words will always be vindicated and you will rise victorious when you are being tried by your critics!”

Truth! No sugar-coated messages or worn-out inspirational, motivational speeches but the truth. This word has been a ringing, constant theme in my spirit. This word is an umbrella that covers a lot of topics, but primarily the one that sticks out to me is the one of who Jesus is to the ex-atheist, the ex-witch, the ex-Muslim, and so on.

In my prayer time, the word “truth” kept ringing, and so this is what I prayed for is that they would know and come to the truth of Jesus. The disservice the mainstream church is doing nowadays led me to even pray for those leaders who are administering the disservice! God give them mercy. God bring them to a place where the truth is what they will have no choice but to preach; where they actually seek you Lord and not others’ messages. God give the leaders who have blood on their hands mercy.

Holy Spirit’s really bringing me even more to a place of seeing the bigger picture, where all else that is petty and minute is coming to null and void and truly is a nuisance. Are we really concerned about who gets acknowledgement or a position when our brothers and sisters are being literally persecuted for their beliefs?! I myself had to repent for focusing more on self than interceding in prayer. Don’t get caught on self.

People have built an altar of rejection in their lives, and so that’s all they preach from. My God! What altar are you preaching from, and those who are around you who keep feeding this monster remove yourselves from them now. It’s not right to constantly stay around those who feed your ego. Please tell me the truth now as a real friend, brother, sister, or whatever so I don’t go down the wrong road. I’d rather have my feelings hurt now than to be in a spiritual ditch later.

That reminds me of a situation I had a while back with someone where my feelings were hurt in the process and this was brought before the leader of the church (calm down it really wasn’t that big now I think about it). I’ll never forget, and now very much appreciate it, when he told me to grow up. Say what lol?! Instead of handling the situation in a mature fashion out of love, my solution was just to ignore the person and let the resentment and bitterness simmer and build. Yep…very immature.

Long-story-short, share the truth of what God is saying (when released to do so by Holy Spirit). Share the truth of what the people need to do now. Help those whose prayers don’t reach the ears of God. Fix your gaze and your focus on the one who holds all the answers.

***Let’s Pray!!! Dear Lord, thank you for bringing all of us to places of humility. We repent for moving in pride, for moving in ignorance, for being lazy. God turn us from our slothful ways. When you tell us to move, let us move quickly without second-guessing the Creator. Continue to build our faith and trust in you. Let us be bold in our confession of Jesus Christ. Build us up in your strength Father that cannot be mistaken. Move us in a direction in our prayer-times to intercede for each other with compassion. The compassion that Jesus had. Father we want and desire this. It’s not about who can outdo the other. Lord, remove silly and frivolous things from us! We cry out for the persecuted. We cry out for the lost. We pray for their salvation and realization of who you really are. You are the First and the Last. You are the Truth and in you there is no lie. We love you and will continue to honor you. In Jesus’ Name—Amen.***
