Learning and Growing

In this season, I'm learning: I'm learning even more when to speak and when not to, when to share and when not to, to take my time and pray about something (or a situation) before jumping to conclusions, etc. Can  I just say I'm growing up lol? I've had time to really allow, and be in a vulnerable place, to where Holy Spirit truly can chisel out every thing that needs to be from me. The difference is, this time, I notice from a spiritual standpoint, repent, and take action to fix it.

It is a very different thing when something about you has been revealed to you, and you do nothing to change for the better. I have noticed, and have been taught, that our Father loves us so much that He will give us multiple opportunities to fix this character flaw (or whatever it might be for you). However, how God initially reveals yourself to you is usually private. The reason we may not notice it's private (or that it even exists) is because it's either ignored or has become so part of us that this flaw is now considered our "normal" (Romans 1:18-32, NASB).

Anything outside of Christ is not normal! Incessant, habitual behaviors outside of the will of God is not normal, contrary to worldly beliefs and programmed minds. Holy Spirit reveals us to us so that when you do excel and go to the next stage in life, you won't be in a position of total embarrassment and humiliation because of what you decided not to fix. The warning was always there! The lesson was always there! The fear of the Lord will move you to a place of humility and repentance. Imagine having to go backwards from ground zero and repent in front of millions of others for now what's considered that "last minute".

I am grateful that I have stories, examples, and people in my life I can learn from. However, that relationship with Jesus, if reverenced, will quickly bring a conviction and unveiling of self and whatever needs to be cleansed. There's nothing like Holy Spirit convicting you of something. I see it as a cloud hanging over your head that won't go away unless repented from and worked on. You know it's there and what it consists of, but it's your choice to deal with it or allow it to continue to grow. A true repentant  and willing heart to live for Jesus results in genuine actions, fruit, and real transformation; not for others but for yourself and own well-being and soul salvation.

I have learned that deliverance is a process like a slow burn (Malachi 3:2-3, NASB). This is a slow, graceful burn to those open and willing to receive it. It's uncomfortable, exposes us to ourselves, reveals what we thought we had let go and more. However, there's this peace, strength, and faith that's rooted in our spirits from God that we can fall back on and walk in. You have to find it. You have to continue to fast and pray, growing in Christ every single day.

***Let's Pray!!! 💖 Thank you Lord for the opportunities of quick acceleration by fire. We repent of those things we are aware of and the things that we are not. Father, remove any legal ground the enemy might have against us that might be hindering our progression. Father, you want us to be pure and without fault in this upcoming season, for it will be needed. You want for there to be nothing stained and nothing faulty. You have given, and are giving us the opportunity to get it right right now without looking or holding back anything from you. Continue to burn us with your refiner's fire that will not be quenched. We know what we are asking for, and for those who do not, give them the revelation. Lord, you want us to sustain where you place us, and for this to happen, there has to be a strong foundation in you. Let us continue to build this foundation on the rock of Jesus. Pure, holy, unstained. In Jesus' Name---Amen.***
