God Exposure

I can honestly say that me and my husband are truly learning and living what it means when people say, "God will take care of it." This saying has turned just into that...a saying. Nothing really that most of us actually believe or live by. This title has so much compacted into it and so many different sides to speak from, but I'll speak from two perspectives I have been given, lived, continue to live, and have seen.

Our Father has His own ways of humbling those He has called for different platforms (big or small); platforms not necessarily meaning a stage but could be in the marketplace, being a parent, sister, brother, etc. It's interesting because I've noticed these humbling processes are different for each situation and each heart. Some things He'll allow to happen in hopes we learn, and other things the Lord will hide us from (or vice versa) so we have that grace period to mature and grow in the process...don't ever underestimate the process. There has been things and people we thought we were supposed to be close to that God later revealed why we were not. God's protection is a serious thing for His glory and for your destiny.

I say all of this to share what I have experienced and am continuing to experience, and it is that God has the final say on who and when He will expose, on what platform, to what audience, and to what degree. We do not have control no matter how much we'd like to think we do.

Matthew 6:5 (NASB)

"When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full."

In this chapter, I underlined "they have their reward in full". This phrase was repeated a couple of times and I'm sure for a reason. It reminded me of today's times, and how we can get so lost in pleasing men that the true reward comes from what's pleasing to God. What does God say?! What is His heart on the matter?! It's very irritating, and please pray for me, when I see this tom-foolery over and over again. I've talked about this before, but what is the goal really? God is the one who elevates, who names, who ordains, and so forth. The ones who seek men's approval, and receive it, have achieved their rewards in full but is that it?

Another side to this topic is God being exposed as the hand and face of the movement. It makes it even more ironic and funny that God's the face when so many are trying to be the face. Yes, we are being molded and re-manufactured into the image of Christ, but we are not Him! I'm not here to replace Him; I'm here to partner with Him, fellowship, and help lead the nation to where God originally intended it to be. God is the face of the new movement/revival arising because His glory will outshine every last one; blocking out the faces and blocking out the names. Who do you want to see? I want to see the Faithful and True, His glory...Jesus! Don't you agree that'd be more glorious and important anyway?

***Let's Pray! 💛  Father, we thank you that you are receiving all the exposure. We repent for allowing idols to sit in the place where you should have been all along. Father, let us not focus on what we see in the natural, but let us live and breath in the supernatural. Let us walk with you in the cool of the day. Father, those who don't believe in the spiritual side of things, bring someone across their path who's on fire for you walking in the supernatural. Let someone who's close to your heart, Father, speak into their situation that will bring them to the feet of Jesus. God, we're praying for a revival! The earth and soil cries out from all the blood shed on her land. The blood from generations to generations, from centuries ago cries out for vindication, and Lord we know you are making this happen and answering the call. Let us focus on your heart Lord and what you are truly concerned about. We love you and honor you, and want to do what is pleasing in your sight. In Jesus' Name---Amen.***
