Child's Play
God had reminded me of a vision He had given me a few years ago during church. I can't remember if it was Bible Study or Sunday service, but either way the teaching in a way had developed a visual. Back then, I didn't know what it meant to have visions, prophetic visions, or anything of the like. I just knew that this was a pretty cool picture so real to me in my mind. It literally felt like I was watching it first-hand; I mean literally in the spirit I was haha.
Anywho, the vision was of a children's book, and when it was opened there was a puppet show occurring. On the strings was the devil, and the hands that controlled every which move was of God. The strings, as you may know with puppet shows, controls the arms, legs, expressions, and more. It made me laugh because it reassured and encouraged me to remember that God STILL is in control. Whatever it may look like He still controls the strings.
"All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." (John 1:3, NASB).
"Then the Lord said to Satan, 'Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him.' So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord." (Job 1:12, NASB).
"By your mighty power I can walk through any devastation, and you will keep me alive, reviving me. Your power set me free from the hatred of my enemies. You keep every promise you've ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you've begun in me!" (Psalm 138: 7-8, TPT).
As I continue to gain more wisdom, knowledge, and revelation, and continue to grow closer to Jesus, it's like another light switch has been turned on inviting me to another room of elevation. Those who really do ask, seek, and knock with persistence, you will definitely find what you're looking for, especially if it's in alignment with God's will for you. I can't really explain it fully, but I know it's Holy Spirit who won't allow me to sit down, back down, or give up. Even when I want to crawl into a corner and say, "Yep, not for me," in my belly is this unexplained determination to keep pushing.
"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance, and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:3-5, NASB).
***Let's Pray!!! Thank you Lord that we can always count on you knowing you see all, know all, and are in all. We repent for anything that's not like you in us. Develop in us, day by day, a pure heart and clean hands. We repent on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ who do not have a fear of you or a respect for you. Father, we come thanking you for the finished work you have already completed in us. Help us to bring this finished work to pass. We don't want to leave this earth without completing that which you have set in our spirits before we were formed in our mothers' womb. Thank you for controlling the strings. We will not focus on what we see with our natural eyes, but what we see with our spiritual. We will continue to praise you, worship you, honor you, and discern the times in order to know what to do and how to stay ahead while watching from our posts. You are a just God, an honorable Father, and worthy to always be praised. In Jesus' Name---Amen.***
