Fools

 1 Corinthians 1:22-23, 27-30 (NASB)

"For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness...but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God. But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption."

As believers, we are not naturally meant to be liked, especially if you are in alignment with God's will and purpose for your life. For example, as soon as me and my husband actually got on the "good foot", so-to-speak, and started on the journey the Lord has for us, things and people started going kinda left. I know it's cliché, and everyone pretty much says the same thing regarding your walk with Christ, "Your friends, your closest friends, your mama, auntie, and uncle are all going to leave and betray you!!!" I'm exaggerating a bit (but not really). The cliché statement is true...to a certain extent. Not everyone will leave you, but you might be in situations where it is literally you and God, and honestly, that's how He would want it to be anyway. (1 Corinthians 7, NASB)

Your proximity to Jesus reveals and exposes who are the "real ones" so-to-speak and who were there in your corner for other reasons. The closer your walk with Him, the more your physical and spiritual eyes open to things that were there all along. You either decided to ignore them, accept those things of the world as normal, or were just completely oblivious walking spiritually dead ✋. Now, you're seen as the fool for professing Jesus Christ and Him crucified. You're seen as the fool for actually trying to live according to His will. Disclaimer: this is not just for the unbelievers but for the believers as well, because (honestly) they can be the worst ones.

Well, thank God for the fools out there for Jesus' sake! Whoop! Whoop! Praise God we don't have believers who go along with the status-quo, which is pretty bizarre nowadays. Like really, what is the status-quo...a whole bunch of confusion? God is using the foolish to shame the wise, the abased to become based, and turning things completely 180 degrees. I'm telling ya'll. A lot of people will be surprised at everything that is about to go down. America, the states, different countries...this world hasn't seen anything yet. I can't even really put to words, but I just know God is about to do a bigger and louder shaking. The question is: "Will you be in the right position to sustain it or will you crumble with the world?"

God's children, God's disciples, God's followers will be preserved and will prosper when it seems like the world is literally falling to pieces. However, can you honestly say you fall into this category? Really, a heart pruning and self-evaluation has to take place. "Am I being led by the Holy Spirit to do this or that, even when it doesn't make any sense at all?" There's so many questions that come up, but honestly, why all the questions if you're secure? Be secure in the Lord's might, be secure in His provision, be secure in His leading, because He will never lead you astray! His promises are "Yes" and "Amen", and they will be secured in you.

So, in saying all of this, don't rely on the wisdom of the world but on the wisdom that comes from your Holy Bible, Holy Spirit, and His revelation. "But that sounds like foolishness." Awesome! You must be doing the right thing then, especially if whatever you are doing is in alignment with the will of God.

***Let's Pray!!! 💝 Lord, thank you that we get the opportunity to be captivated by your presence each and every day. We take out the time from our busy schedules, spend intimate time with you, and receive all that you want for us to have. Lord, even if we don't receive anything, we thank you that in your presence is peace, joy unmatched, and restoration that no one else or the world can give. We pray for more and more wisdom from you Father. We know, going through this journey of life, that we cannot and will not make it on our own, so we pray for an impartation of your wisdom. We thank you Lord that you are giving us blueprints, lists, schedules on what we need to do. We know that you don't show us everything and have put eternity in our hearts, but we declare that you have given us the next steps. We thank you in advance. We pray from a standpoint of bringing heaven down here on earth, because Lord we know, that whatever you have for us and our families is already finished in heaven. You are upmost worthy, holy, magnificent, and wonderful. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus' Name-Amen.***
