 Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."       Can I just give ya'll some life backdrop on this verse? I didn't know that this would be the verse I literally would have to live by. I grew up not even knowing the context of what even a relationship with Jesus looked like.  When I started to live on my own, I thought the scripture stickers you buy from Hobby Lobby was a cute additive to my wall for decoration.      Philippians 2:8-11 (NASB) "Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."     Honestly, I didn't know what to write about and was like, "Lord, you have anything you want to say?"  1 Corinthians 13:1-3,13(NASB) "If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. ..but now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love."    Love is not a feeling but an action or actions. It is the will to keep treating others as you would want to be treated, regardless of what they do or say. It is the hardest thing to do when the connection to Jesus is far. I can love you easy when I'm tight with my Saviour; you might try to push it but I won't be tempted.
