It's Simple

Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB)- "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Luke 18:1 (NASB)- "Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart."

Moving in faith is not always pretty with a joy ride and petals at your door. You hear so many words and teachings on it, but it really doesn't digest until it's experienced and put into effect personally. This past week has been testing me and my husband's faith to another level we haven't had to experience. Background drop: God has called us to move to a whole new state we never lived in before. This a whole new state ya'll! To some that's not a big deal, but when it looks like no doors are opening, you start to question a few things. The temptation to want to believe in what we see versus what God told you tries to creep its' ugly head around the corner. However, God is very intentional and strategic in the encounters He allows you to have.

Let me tell you! Just from the words, sound teaching and preaching that we have heard, and breakthroughs being performed...you cannot make this up! This is truly the year that God's handiwork is going to be put on display, and for some, at an accelerated rate. The forward movement has nothing to do with what we see or even how we feel, but everything to do with what God says. Me and my husband were discussing earlier this week that our main goal is to be obedient to what the Lord says. It's that simple! Wherever the Holy Spirit leads, we will follow.

The Lord had been convicting me and my husband this past week on prayer (specifically praying in tongues) through teachings, His Word, and more. Long-story-short...we had not been doing enough of it. We read scripture that we should always pray and keep God's word in our heart, vocabulary, etc. However, we didn't know (or at least I didn't) in order to go into the deeper things of God it requires more and more hours of prayer and time with Jesus. When it comes to spending time with Him, there is no time-limit. This reminds me of Prophet Uebert Angel and his history of prayer and fasting. There was a time he had prayed and fasted (no food or water) for three months for personal reasons. Now, do as the Holy Spirit leads, but this represents dedication and true reverence for the space and time of the Lord.

It's simple! God wants His time back with you. What is it wasted on? I always admire the true prophets of God and the signs and miracles that follow, and the Holy Spirit told me, "You can too. I have not made you any different. You just don't make room for Me." Really evaluating and planning out time for the Lord will change your life for the better. However, this is if you know and want to go into the deeper, spiritual things of the kingdom...it's a choice knowing that persecution will follow. Not everyone accepts heaven's kingdom in movement (Matthew 10:25, NASB). Basic, Biblical, spiritual principles (miracles, healings, signs, and wonders) have been tossed to the side as a fad, or like they never existed, or they don't exist for today's time. Are you kidding me? God's Word is for today's time and now! It may not be seen on a huge, mass platform, but it's about to be. Trust God, spend time with Him, pray, pray, pray, and study His Word. Watch the Holy Spirit start to work in your life and open up your spiritual eyes.

***Let's Pray! 💛 Lord, thank you for your grace! Thank you that we don't have to perform for others or for you. All you require from us is our obedience. We respect you Lord and fear you. Lead us. Guide us where you would want us to go. For without you we can do nothing and are nothing but filthy rags. We will not go anywhere without your Presence before us, as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. Let us always stay in your face and at your feet. Let your Presence never leave us Father as is it didn't with your servant Moses. You have us, you keep us, and you protect us. Thank you Lord for what we do not deserve! Thank you for opening our eyes and revealing answers that seem so simple now but were not before. As we stay focused on you, we will notice when it is not you. We are not in competition with our brothers and sisters in Christ, but want to work together in unity all under the same heaven. Hallelujah! God, you are so good words cannot even begin to express. You have been faithful thus far, and you won't stop now. We just thank you for the impartation of your strength and endurance through it all. In the mighty Name of Jesus, we do pray- Amen, Amen, and Amen.***
