Seek Me

Image
Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB)- "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart."      I have been seeing this verse a lot lately, and it has even been used in other books I am currently reading. So, with anything this repetitive you tend to pay attention. I know from previous experience in our move to Florida, that seeing the same thing over and over again means God is trying to communicate something to you. Anyway, when studying the Bible, I could not move pass this verse for some reason, so I asked God, "How do I go about seeking you to find you?" I did not immediately get an answer. Call me over-analytical, but I was truly puzzled.      Oh...my...goodness ya'll. The answer (like the previous blog) was so simple and literally in my face the entire time. Through other different books and teachings watched, I was reverted right back to my Bible. The Holy Spirit revealed to Me that in order to find God, I ...

It's Simple

Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB)- "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."       Luke 18:1 (NASB)- "Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart."      Moving in faith is not always pretty with a joy ride and petals at your door. You hear so many words and teachings on it, but it really doesn't digest until it's experienced and put into effect personally. This past week has been testing me and my husband's faith to another level we haven't had to experience. Background drop: God has called us to move to a whole new state we never lived in before. This a whole new state ya'll! To some that's not a big deal, but when it looks like no doors are opening, you start...

What Do You Want?

Psalm 37:4 (NASB)- "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."     The question that God has been presenting to me lately is, "What do you want?" This question has been coming through other prophets, randomly in conversation, and in my personal time with the Lord. I found myself getting frustrated because I thought I had already answered this question over and over again. The answer being almost everybody else's answer, "Lord, please pay off all me and my husband's debts. I don't want to make payments; I want to payoff, own, and not rent in everything I do." This is awesome and I know God will make it happen. In the meantime, I still had the question presented to me over a year time-span, "What do you want?"     I realized, looking back over the past year, that I have really grown in Christ and in my relationship with Him. The closer I got, the less requests I had about the earth...

Purify

Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB)- " 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope'."      Purify (Merriam-Webster, 2023): to clear from material defilement or imperfection; to free from guilt or moral or ceremonial blemish; to free from undesirable elements.      God's Word right here has been a reoccurring theme for me the past week or so, in regards to one of the many scriptures He has been using to comfort me in my time of purification. The Lord recently revealed to me that He was doing this with me in order that my advancement would not have spiritual baggage. One person I was talking to one day gave me a visual, and I thought I'd share to make my point: as a spaceship goes higher and higher, it has to be released from some things in order for it be at its'  most successful point when it reaches its' specified goal. God is doi...
