Transform
"For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring."-Acts 17: 28, KJV.
In a previous blog, I talked about moving with the shift that God is taking us by the Holy Spirit. However, I did not truly hone in on the fact that the Lord is challenging us to transform with this move. God is challenging us to totally and completely depend on Him and this requires our transformation. For some, this change may be big, for others not so big. In any case, this change requires our complete faith to move into some areas that we have no background experience or, by natural standards, would not even be qualified for.
God is always ready and willing to take us to the next level, but not if you're not willing to transform into what He's called you to be. The world is constantly changing, and trust God is not blind to this fact, so there has to be new and different ways to reach His children without perversion and leaving the context of His Word, and God is showing us how with the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit. If we are obedient to the call, complacency will not be an issue. If we are obedient to the call, stagnation will not be an issue. Don't confuse the Lord telling you to wait with stagnation...sometimes the Lord needs us to sit down for Him to move because we (at times) don't listen to Him in the process of moving.
The Lord is asking, "Are you ready and willing to allow Me to change you? I have new and exciting things for you that you can experience here and now for My glory to be seen amongst My people. Don't put Me off and My plans for you because you have gotten comfortable. Come to Me, seek Me, and find your new." Man! God is moving ya'll! He's working and changing the inner spiritual man to bring about this new creation. There is not this one-stop-shop in being made new; this relationship with Jesus is a constant renewal of mind, body, soul, and spirit. However, it is those who're willing to be stretched, and flexible enough to be used by the Lord how He desires. Remember, anything we do is for the glory of the Lord and not our own, which can easily be mistaken- "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."-Colossians 3:23, KJV.
God is not asking us to be perfect...He's asking us to be willing. I know, without a doubt, that there is something huge on the other side of this faith! "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."-Hebrews 11:1, KJV. The Lord is moving within each and every one of us stretching us and forcing us to grow. The difference between some of us though is the allowance of change to propel us forward into the new. If we truly live, move, and have our being in Christ, then we are willing to transform in any direction He takes us. Be willing, be able, and transform to Christ! You will see great and mighty things once you are truly willing and able to be used by the Lord.
**Prayer time!💗: Dear Lord, You move in such mighty ways and we thank you for moving on our behalf each and every day. You are forever moving, forever protecting, and forever a force to be reckoned with. Thank you Father for stretching us beyond our comfort zones, for taking us into the new, and for telling us to explore. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him."-1 Corinthians 2:9, KJV. Lord, we are grateful that what we have yet to lay our eyes on, you have for us here on earth. You are ready to release. Thank you Lord that we are moving, transforming, and shifting with that release. Some things we know we won't see until we are gone from this earth, but some things we know we can experience right now if we just give you our all and follow you. In saying this, we lay our hearts before you. Search the depths of our hearts and minds. Remove anything that might be hindering our transformation and lets start this journey. Lord we volunteer! Take us where you want to take us, and shake us where our lives need shaking. In the Name of Jesus-Amen.**
