Move With the Shift

     God is performing a shift in the spirit, a move in the atmosphere. Can you not sense it? Can you not feel it? Psalm 37:4 (NASB)- "Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart." If we delight ourselves in the ways, moves, and waves of the Lord, we will start to move how He moves. We will, if remaining in the Vine (John 15:5, NASB), walk how He walks and talk how He talks. 

    There are things and moves in the spirit that are causing a shift. There are shifts in peoples' lives right now, from moving from one location to the next, applying for a long-awaited job and/or promotion, moving or not moving forward with a relationship. God is shifting the atmosphere for those who want to get on the wave of the Holy Spirit. However, I have even noticed that the Lord is moving closer and closer to revealing Himself to unbelievers- "It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days" (Joel 2:28-29, NASB). 

    The question then presents itself: Are we, as believers of Christ, ready for when the questions start to arise of what is going on? Can we help to explain, Biblically, when the unbeliever can't seem to grasp why they keep seeing or hearing things that happen the next day? Church! We are in the beginning of a shift! Move with the shift! Where is God telling you to go or to do? Do it! Take heed and do it because this move with the shift will be the breakthrough for your next level God has called you. Joshua 1:9, NASB- "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." 

    You do not want to miss this wave and chance the Lord is giving everyone. God has given everyone a grace-period to start new inventions, hobbies, or even just the time to get closer to Him. The time is coming, and is soon near, where it will be harder to hear the voice of God. Again, the breakthrough is on the other side of the move. One thing I've learned when listening or paying attention to God is that interests or suggestions stop becoming this when these suggestions have been suggested almost everyday. Personally, the Lord has been showing me and my husband some things for a while now, and we just thought, "Okay, we'll pray for this place. Cool. Thank You Lord for making us intercessors!" but that wasn't it. There's more to the story...which I will discuss in another blog.

*Pray this prayer with me: Dear Lord, thank you Father that You have ignited the fire placed within me to move with Your shift. I just thank you and declare the boldness and courage You've placed inside of me to increase. I thank You Lord for providing for this move not just for me, but for my family as well. I thank you Lord that when I take this leap of faith, people will ask, "How did you do it?" and I will answer, "It was God Who did it for me." Lord, You are the Provider and Way Maker. You are the God of the impossible, so I know that whatever lies ahead of me, you have made it possible to conquer. I bless Your Name and I praise You forevermore. In Jesus' Name I pray- Amen.*
