Let the Children Arise!
Lately, my interests have been in seeing children soaked in worship. It started with a small baby holding both of his hands up, then a toddler, and now children from six years-of-age to teens. The Holy Spirit is pushing me to learn more, to search some more. On Instagram, my feed or suggestions have children in foreign countries praising the Lord. They are soaked in the glory of God with some of them worshipping like I've never seen a child do before. We all have seen adults laid out on the floor, crying, dancing, and doing as the Lord leads. Now, place that same image (and possibly even more) on the youth of God. What a sight to see that makes my heart glad! This is not cute or precious---this is a move of God! Respect the God in your child!
As mentioned before, God is performing a shift, and the children are getting a hold of it; those children who are willing to receive this shift, whose spirits haven't been tampered with and lead by the world's devices. I am amazed still at how the Lord is willing to use children to show us adults how to worship Him, how to lift His name, and how to truly be on fire for the Lord. Again, "It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions" (Joel 2: 28, NASB). The Lord is no respecter of persons, and this does not exclude the children when I say this (Acts 10: 34, NASB). The children that I have seen are prophesying, praying for others, and laying hands on people. Come on now! If this isn't a move of God, then I don't know what else is!
Pay attention to the kids and their gifts the Lord has given them, cater to them, and do not ignore them or allow them to be tainted or pushed aside by you or others because of religion and not relationship. Religion tells them to behave as a child should and take their place. Religion says, "You are too young to know or do those things. Religion encourages the children to suppress and hold back what God has given them. Encourage them to press in to what the Lord has graced them to have. Jesus mentioned that it'd be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and drown than to cause the little ones to stumble (Matthew 18: 5-6, NASB)! We, as the adults, are called to cover the children with prayer and renew their minds with God's Word. Yes, the Holy Spirit is falling on these kids, but helping them process it all is very necessary. Let the children arise!
***Let's pray: Dear Lord, thank you for your youth of this world. Thank you Lord that you have gifted their spirits with plenty of things just waiting to be witnessed. Thank you Father that you have placed the right people in their paths to help in bringing out those gifts and anointings. Continue to cover your children wherever their feet may land, and protect them for the evils of this world. You have already given them the tools to fight, but we just pray that you Father show them how to use it. We thank you that you Lord have downloaded the information and your Word into the hearts and minds of the parents and/or guardians for these children. You have blessed and anointed the parents to "train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are older, they will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6, NASB). We bless your name Lord and thank you that what we have prayed for in faith is already done. In Jesus' Name- Amen.
Amen, very well said! Children are the future of what this world will look like in the years to come. So it is very vital that we don't hinder what God wants to do in their lives especially when it is different from what He's done in ours. We don't need copycats of us we need more imitators of Him.
