Pray

 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV):
"pray without ceasing."

-Pray (Wikipedia): "an act of supplication or intercession directed towards a deity or a deified ancestor"

In reading about the garments of the Levitical priests, I noticed a couple of things out of the many things there are to learn. Aaron was instructed to wear the names of the twelve tribes of Israel on his shoulders and across his chest over his heart (Exodus 28:12, 29-30, NASB). He was the high priest at that time, but the fact is that the intercession for the apple of God's eye did not stop there.

As priests of God's Word, of his promises, and of this land, we have the responsibility to protect, defend, and take back what is ours as believers of Christ. However, can we really be called priest without a prayer life? I feel like I literally say the same thing almost every time, but maybe it just needs to be said.

Prayer does more than you know in the spiritual realm, and eventually, in the physical realm. You may not see things happen as soon as you would want them to, but best believe God takes note. It's up to us to stick to it, to have faith, see and believe in what God is showing us, and press into these visions and knowings with prayer. You have to pray things through; they're not just going to drop out mid-air, and if you received something or were blessed by something you did not pray for...believe somebody was praying for you. Things have to be spoken by the mouth of God's children to manifest here on earth, and this can happen legally or illegally which I'll probably discuss at a later time.

I used to think that if I pray a little bit and chill that I'd be ok. However, I have learned that this is not the case. You have to fight for those prophecies and/or what God has in the books for you. Of course, there is the exception of God's grace in helping you succeed and pushing you forth, but we cannot be lazy. We have to pray the mind and heart of our Father. We have to continue to pray for Israel, bearing their names on our shoulders and over our hearts continuously.

I am super grateful to be where I am at, the grace God has given me to pray, and just the timeline of everything that is occurring. You can't make this stuff up. Even when you've fallen out of routine, or the Lord sees that you have probably gotten a bit slack, he has a way of realigning you back into his will (this is of course if we still have the fear of the Lord and a hunger that cannot be quenched). Our Father will literally place people around you, or bring someone into your midst you would have never expected as a warning or to whip you back in shape. It's all in what we pay heed to. What's your focus on? Let your main priority/focus be on Jesus and serving him. Thank you for the love of God that pursues us even when we get weary or don't even want to be pursued.

***Let's Pray!!! Lord, thank you for free opportunity and chance we get everyday, every second, every minute, and every hour to pray. We see that strengthening this altar between you and us carries much weight, power, and impacts more than just our lives but that of others we know and do not know. Father, let us not be selfish in our prayer-walk with you. Allow us to sit and wait until you give us what to pray for. Let us not rush you as the world has conditioned so many (and us) to rush. Let us slow down, listen, intercede, and move forward. God, you want and desire for it to be just that simple for us. Let us cast our cares on you Father. Let us have faith when we pray, so that we won't be like a ship that is tossed and driven by the winds and waves of this world. Father, bring us into the knowledge of the spiritual world, and let us use wisdom on how to navigate. Navigate us when we pray, how we see things in the natural, and how we perceive things in the spiritual. We pray against every hinderance that has allowed us to become slack and nonchalant towards our time spent with you. We repent for becoming this way, and thinking that you cannot hear us or that you don't answer prayer. We know that this is a lie from the enemy. So, we bind the hands and feet of the enemy and renounce the spirit of procrastination and laziness that tends to make excuses not to pray...even fatigue. Forgive us and set our minds straight on you. In Jesus' Name---Amen.***
