Heart's Call

The more consistent I am with reading my Bible, the more my heart yearns for His Word…for Jesus. He has gotten into my system as something, or someone, I cannot and do not want to shake. There’s a yearning and a wanting of hope, peace, love, and security that overtakes me; a fortress that protects me. This is the place of dwelling with Holy Spirit, with Jesus, and with my Father of intimacy that is incomparable.

I always go back to the vision and space in the spirit with God where I am sitting by a stream of water next to my tree (Psalms 23, KJV) amongst other trees. This was my first vision with God that I could see in the spirit; a place of communion. The scene is very serene and calm. There’s like a morning sun outside, a cool breeze, and not too hot. I am sitting next to an endless supply of Jesus…the Word. This place I carry with me everywhere I go, even when I happen to forget about it, Holy Spirit will bring it back to my eyes. This is the place where I reside when reading, worshiping, praying, and so forth.

There’s a hearts’ call back to the Word of God…to Jesus (John 1: 1-5, NASB). The simplicity of picking up your Holy Bible, reading it, and allowing Holy Spirit to minister to you brings about such a transformation not just for you but for those around you. You start to walk, talk, and look different because your spirit-man is being renewed. God creates a hunger from within to want to commune with Him everyday and night. There’s this wanting and desire to reside in this safe space with your true Father.

Everything can literally be found in His presence. There is hope, encouragement, a refreshing, and more in the presence of God. That altar you continue to build of exchange, sacrifice, worship, communication, and downloads builds such a strong relationship; stronger relationship than what you can conjure up here on earth. This relationship is like no other; a love like no other.

This relationship is at times hard to explain, so you really have no choice but to experience it yourself. However, there has to be a wanting…a hunger for Jesus. I have noticed that God is no fool and will not be played. He is a jealous God (Ex 20: 3-6, NASB) that shares His children with no one, but if you so choose to idolize/serve/worship creation and not the Creator you now share grounds with the adversary, legally binding you over to the enemy unless there’s repentance (2 Chron 7:14, KJV)

Answer the call back to the true hope, the Truth, the Faithful, the pursuer, and your lover. This call is becoming more urgent and almost “pushy” in a sense. Slow down, listen, observe, be slow to anger, slow to speak, wise as a serpent, and calm as a dove. Give your life to Jesus and never turn back; even amongst and against the wicked confrontation…do not turn back but keep moving forward.

***Let’s pray!!! Father, we will answer the call to completely and fully give our lives to you. We repent for dragging our feet, for not having a true fear and reverence for you, and/or for treating you as just a Sunday service performing out of routine. God, clean us anew. Wash us clean. Make this heart of stone a heart of flesh. How can we intercede for our brothers and sisters from a heart of no compassion? We thank you for your pursuit. We acknowledge it, appreciate you, love you for it, and are honored to be even thought of in that way. Let us all take on this same approach for that one out of the ninety-nine…for the prodigal. Let us intercede, evangelize, and “go-to-bat” for those we know and those we do not. Let us cry tears of intercession for those who are lost, who feel a yearning and tugging in their hearts for you, but don’t know how to quite interpret that yet. We will answer the call for the harvest is ripe and ready. In Jesus’ Name-Amen.***
