Facing Faith

Image
James 1:2-4 (NASB) "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."       Faith takes on a whole new meaning when you're faced with situations you have no other physical, rational, logical solution for. At the same time, God repeatedly encouraging you and telling you His promises. All-the-while, in the physical realm, everything says the opposite. I literally keep saying, "This doesn't even feel real." Because it's not!     I know this may seem and even sound like I've gone "coo-coo for coco puffs" but it will sound like this for those who do not understand the spiritual realm or God in that matter. God is spirit and so that is how we must function...in spirit. What we see and what we experience sometimes is just a faith-builder in preparation for the nex...

#truth

Romans 3:4 (TPT) “Absolutely not! God will always be proven faithful and true to his word, while people are proven to be liars. This will fulfill what was written in the Scriptures: Your words will always be vindicated and you will rise victorious when you are being tried by your critics!”  Truth! No sugar-coated messages or worn-out inspirational, motivational speeches but the truth. This word has been a ringing, constant theme in my spirit. This word is an umbrella that covers a lot of topics, but primarily the one that sticks out to me is the one of who Jesus is to the ex-atheist, the ex-witch, the ex-Muslim, and so on.  In my prayer time, the word “truth” kept ringing, and so this is what I prayed for is that they would know and come to the truth of Jesus. The disservice the mainstream church is doing nowadays led me to even pray for those leaders who are administering the disservice! God give them mercy. God bring them to a place where the truth is what they will have n...

Learning and Growing

Image
In this season, I'm learning: I'm learning even more when to speak and when not to, when to share and when not to, to take my time and pray about something (or a situation) before jumping to conclusions, etc. Can  I just say I'm growing up lol? I've had time to really allow, and be in a vulnerable place, to where Holy Spirit truly can chisel out every thing that needs to be from me. The difference is, this time, I notice from a spiritual standpoint, repent, and take action to fix it.      It is a very different thing when something about you has been revealed to you, and you do nothing to change for the better. I have noticed, and have been taught, that our Father loves us so much that He will give us multiple opportunities to fix this character flaw (or whatever it might be for you). However, how God initially reveals yourself to you is usually private. The reason we may not notice it's private (or that it even exists) i...

"You have to die!"

Image
John 12:25 (TPT) "The person who loves his life and pampers himself will miss true life! But the one who detaches his life from this world and abandons himself to me, will find true life and enjoy it forever!" 1 Corinthians 15:31 (NASB) "I affirm, brethren, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." What will it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul Will this make him whole? The cutting off of fat of altars and idols, that have made us complacent refusing to be bridled There's a death a death to self we all must bear, to truly walk in God's glory the sacrifice may not seem fair But oh glory be to God! Who's promises never fall short, He never comes up empty this cannot be His report We're talking the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the God of Jesus Christ, THE Son of Man for you and me who gave His life There's no frills and dressing up of this journey, there is spiritual warfare and hardships...
