Guerrilla Warfare

Matthew 6:5-6, KJV- "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."

    Dictionary.com defines guerilla warfare as:

noun
the use of hit-and-run tactics by small, mobile groups of irregular forces operating in territory controlled by a hostile, regular force.

I see guerrilla warfare as a sneak-attack where the enemy doesn't really know which direction the attack is coming from; caught off-guard. The attack is coming from the least expected. Those who've been watching, observing, counting the moves, and taking notes; those who have been in the brainstorm closet, preparing for every possible outcome. Yes, we know 1 Peter 5:8 (NASB) and we know the enemy is very wise, but there are those who have been doing their homework.

This may seem like a repeat of information, but I really believe there are a group of people the Lord is prepping at this moment that He has hidden from our natural and spiritual eyes. They move quietly but are precise, swift, and dangerous to the enemy's camp ie intercessors or whoever else you can think of who's not so much present physically, but spiritually can "tear you up" so-to-speak.

This reminds me of what I read in Jane Hamon's book "Discernment: The Essential Guide to Hearing the Voice of God":

"When a fortress was captured, the invading force generally did not tear it down. No, it was a valuable fortification that only needed to be reinforced so as to make it stronger, now for their use. The conquering army would build an even greater stronghold on the very spot. If they did not occupy the conquered fortress, their enemy would come back and attempt to reclaim what had been theirs."

Here, Mrs. Hamon was talking about strongholds being overthrown in history from a battleground perspective. You're probably wondering that this is more of a "violent taketh by force" (Matthew 11:12, NASB) reference and you would be correct, but there is such a thing as violently "going in" when it comes to prayer and intercession for that which is legally yours under heaven (Exodus 22:7, James 5:16, NASB).

I guess I could've called this "The Hidden Ones", but that would've been a little off-putting. The main goal and purpose of this blog is to give those who'll pay attention a heads-up when these people start to "come out of the woodworks", as my Mom likes to say. Stay attentive to the Holy Spirit and what He is saying, follow His guiding, and (as I am learning) focus on Jesus only. Here is where you will find your strength, peace, and joy. No one else can give you these things in a more sustainable, consistent, and lovable way. Stick tight! The more the days come and go, the tighter we need to be in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

John 15:4-5, NASB- "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

***Let's Pray!!! 💖 Thank you Lord for always having a plan, another plan, and a back-up plan for the previous one. You never fall short because you are omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. Thank you Father for knowing all, being all-powerful, and your ability to be everywhere at once when we need you and even when we think we don't. You have embraced us as your own because we have embraced your Son, Jesus Christ, as our own. The more we follow His example and stick tight to Him, the more we start to look like Him to those lost and needing Jesus. Father, we thank you for the plans we cannot see and those you allow us to see. Thank you for even withholding those things we were not ready for but swore up and down that we were. God, you are not going to put us in places where we are not able to sustain, and we thank you for this. God, your word says that you won't give us more than we are tempted, so what we are going through now or experiencing, you have already placed inside of us the solution. We will continue to trust you, follow your guidance, and lead by your example. In Jesus' Name-Amen.***
