The Blood

*Exodus 12:7,13 (NASB)- "Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt."

*Matthew 27:50-51(NASB)- "And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split."

Lately, this song and the blood of Jesus Christ has been a constant theme in my comings and goings. "The blood, the blood" is what I keep hearing...actually this entire month. The Lord is stressing the high importance of the blood of His son Jesus Christ. The blood for our salvation. The blood for our sicknesses and diseases. The blood! The blood we should cry out for in worship and repentance. The blood!

I hear so clearly, "Why celebrate blood shed in the death of My creation, when we should be celebrating the blood shed for life, for My salvation? The salvation of many? The healing of many? Wake up! Celebrate death? What for? Do you see Me? Do you see My blood?!"

"Helloween" (as I like to define it) today is so watered down amongst us believers, it has become as significant as anything else in our lives. Have you really asked yourselves what you are celebrating? The mere action of doing anything on or for this day, as I have learned personally, is disrespectful to the Lord. As per usual, Satan uses his tactics to pervert the meaning of any and everything. When we think of the blood in today's times, we think of blood shed, gore, horror movies, something of disdain, and thrills and chills. However, the blood should remind us of so much more.

As noted above in the scriptural text used, the blood should remind of us of our protection, our salvation, and our healing (1 Peter 2:24, NASB). Can you honestly say the blood of Christ is on your doorpost covering and protecting your house? Have you allowed the Holy Spirit to come in and rest on you and your family? When we celebrate death, we open up spiritual portals that allow unwanted demonic activity into our lives knowingly and unknowingly; now or recognized years down the line. This reminds me of one of my recent posts about the reverence of God. Can we truly say we reverence God when death of His creation is celebrated and not the life given by Jesus Christ?

Let's celebrate the life given by the blood! Let's celebrate the healings given by the blood! Let's celebrate the joy, peace, protection, and freedom given by the blood! To honor death, killings, murder, and gore is to dishonor the Lord. Believers of Christ and the Gospel honor His death AND His life because we know what it represents; this is to be shared amongst others so they can be set free and renewed as well. Are you bold and courageous enough to stand against the world's norm? Do not be fooled into thinking this is just an innocent time of the year because it is not. Satan is after the kids in order to corrupt pure and innocent blood... the blood Jesus died for.

I know you're asking, "Well, aren't the other holidays pagan as well?" Yes! We just so happen to be in the Halloween season, so this is what's discussed and stressed at the moment. Be above the norm, be called boring, be called lame, all for the sake of your eternal life; all for the sake of Jesus Christ. After refusing to be included over and over, the opinions of others won't even matter any more because of the proximity between you and the Lord. Only and only His opinion will matter.

**Prayer time! 🙏** Hallelujah! Thank you Father for imparting upon us your clarity. For removing the veils and scales from our eyes. For giving us insight into the spiritual realm, and saying, "No! We see you enemy and we will not be fooled anymore!" Thank you Lord that you have made our tongues to be flames of fire to spread your Word that cuts deeper than bone and marrow (Heb 4:12, KJV). Father, you have given us the tools, but it is up to us to use them or not. I thank you and declare that more and more people are using the readily accessible tools you have given us in your Word and have implanted inside each and every one of us (Eph 6:10-18, NASB). Thank you Lord, that you are unveiling the different gifts that you have given us little by little and bit by bit. We say, "Lord! You can trust me. You can trust me with the gifts you have given me known and unknown. I will not use them for my glory but only for yours God. For you deserve all the glory and all the praise." I thank you God that we can walk boldly in your Word and in your ways. That we don't have to conform to the world, but that the world has to conform to your Word (Phil 2:10, NASB). Let it be so. In Jesus' Name-Amen. **
